Selection Tree
Choosing a Selection Tree

Selection trees are configured by admin users. They can be created based on any attribute data contained within the system.
The choice of selection tree is based upon the context of the user and what visualizations a user would like to create:
- Discipline tree is the default view and is configured Discipline to Tag Type.
- Opportunities, Constraints & OCA are enabled during execution phase.
- Work packs shows any work packs by type that have been created.
- Work pack Sequencing allows drag and drop sequencing of packs.
- Activity Planning tree is linked to Project Schedules.
Using the Selection Tree

This example above has opened the Mechanical discipline within the tree and Compressors, Drum, Pump & Reactor tag types are selected. Selections within the tree turn from white text to green text once selected. The model viewer will render the selection made.
Selections can be easily removed by clicking on selected tree items
Choosing a Selection Tree (Area Example)

The area based Tree is structured Area to Sub Area. The above shows the visual for Area 30 – Butadene Extraction with all the sub areas below.
Area & Sub Area attribution will mature as design progresses. Area and Sub Area attribution is created from the internal attribution within a Tag number.
The tank highlighted above = 3015TK075 – th3 first 4 digits are the area code 30 and sub area code 15.
Piping within the model is currently allocated to areas only.
