Download latest version of a document
Upload new revision of a document
Overview
This article provides an overview of various actions related to managing documents and folders within the system.
Uploading a Document
To upload a document:
- From the Home Screen, go to Documents.
- Click on the folder and any subfolders you want to add a document to by clicking on the folders names.
- From the table context menu, click Upload/link a document.
- Assign the document a category and save.
Download Latest Version of a Document
To download the latest version of a document:
- From the Home Screen, go to Documents.
- Click on the folder and any subfolders you want to download a document by clicking on the folders names.
- Find the document you want to download, go to the context menu, and click Download latest revision.
Upload New Revision of a Document
To upload a new revision of a document:
- From the Home Screen, go to Documents.
- Click on the folder and any subfolders to the location of the document by clicking on the folders names.
- Find the document you want to add a new revision, go to the context menu, and click Upload new revision.
- Select the Upload a file, select the file and then save.
View Document Revisions
To view a documents revisions:
- From the Home Screen, go to Documents.
- Click on the folder and any subfolders to the location of the document by clicking on the folders names.
- Find the document you want to view the revisions of, go to the context menu and click View document revisions.
Edit Document Properties
To edit a documents properties:
- From the Home Screen, go to Documents.
- Click on the folder and any subfolders to the location of the document by clicking on the folders names.
- Find the document you want to update the properties of, go to the context menu and click Edit document properties.
Document Markup
To open document markup:
- From the Home Screen, go to Documents.
- Click on the folder and any subfolders to the location of the document by clicking on the folders names.
- Find the document you want to markup, go to the context menu, and click Markup.
Delete a Document
To delete a document:
- From the Home Screen, go to Documents.
- Click on the folder and any subfolders to the location of the document by clicking on the folders names.
- Find the document you want to delete, go to the context menu, and click Delete document.
View Deleted Documents
To view deleted documents:
- From the Home Screen, go to Documents.
- Click on the folder and any subfolders to the location of the document by clicking on the folders names.
- From the table context menu, click View deleted files and folders.
Restore a Deleted Document
To restore a previously deleted document:
- From the Home Screen, go to Documents.
- Click on the folder and any subfolders to the location of the document by clicking on the folders names.
- From the table context menu, click View deleted files and folders.
- Find the document you want to restore, go to the context menu, and click restore document.
Hide Deleted Documents
To hide deleted documents:
- When viewing deleted documents.
- From the table context menu, click Hide deleted files and folders.
Creating Folders
To create folders:
- From the Home Screen, go to Documents.
- Click on the folder you want add a new folder to by clicking on the folder name.
- From the table context menu, click Create new folder.
Moving a Folder
To move a folder to a new location:
- From the Home Screen, go to Folders.
- Select the folder you want to move, go to the context menu, and click Move folder.
- Select the new folder location and click Move.
Archiving a Folder
To archive a folder:
- From the Home Screen, go to Folders.
- Select the folder you want to archive, go to the context menu, and click Archive.
N.B. You can only archive a folder if the folder contains no subfolders or documents.
View Archived Folders
To view archived folders:
- From the Home Screen, go to Folders.
- From the table context menu, click View deleted files and folders.
Restore an Archived Folder
To restore a previously archived folder:
- From the Home Screen, go to Folders.
- From the table context menu, click View deleted files and folders.
- Find the folder you want to restore, go to the context menu, and click Unarchive.
Hide Archived Folders
To hide archived folders:
- When viewing deleted documents.
- From the table context menu, click Hide deleted files and folders.
