In Validate, projects relate to some grouping of tags on an asset. An asset may have many projects – each with their own record of uploads, upload errors, tags, and tag errors.
To view the projects for a tenant, click on the “Projects” icon on the homepage.
This will show all projects on the project, with their parent asset, and settings used in validation. These settings include delimiters for multi-value attributes, whether to ignore leading 0s in numeric attributes and also whether to ignore casing when comparing text.
Creating a project
To create a new project, click the “Create” menu option at the top of the page.
This will open the “Create new project” form. When creating a new project, choose an asset to create the project on, provide the project validation settings and also settings for linking to a PowerBI dashboard workspace for viewing dashboard reports.
Archiving a project
Projects may be archived by clicking the “Archive” menu option. This will open a form to confirm the action.
