Once the asset has been set up, the main area where you’ll be working is in uploading tags – this is where Validate is able to process tag data and validate against a wide array of validation issues. The main workflow here is to upload a source of record, view any validation errors, correct the errors in the data source and reupload the source of record. If this process is followed, the number of errors should reduce over time.
As uploads are performed, tag data is built up, which is used in future validations.
To view the tag uploads and perform additional uploads, click on the “Tag uploads” option on the homepage.
This will show a table of historic uploads. The list of uploads records the source of record’s category, the document name if defined, revision details, upload status and a brief summary of tag and error numbers.
