Assets are one of the main concepts in Validate. Assets relate to the large-scale assets that a customer has some involvement in constructing. The asset is the area of the software where the main setup is performed – this includes attributes, tag types, source of records and milestones.

Creating an asset

When on the assets page, click the ‘Create’ menu option at the top of the page.

This will open the “Create new asset” form. The asset must be given a name (this must be unique to the tenant) and may optionally be given a description and region).
Click ‘Save’ to create the asset.
